How to write a good review

ValRep only works if the reviews are worth reading. This takes about a minute.

Find the player
Search their Riot ID in the form Name#Tag. Names are case-insensitive, but the tag has to be right.

Pick a rating
One to five stars for what they were like to play with, not how well they played. A quiet player who never flames is a good teammate even at a low rank.

Add a few tags
Up to 6, grouped by reputation, skill, personality, and competitive. A tag only shows on someone's profile once 3 different people have picked it, so yours counts toward a total rather than branding anyone on its own.

Say what actually happened
A sentence or two beats a paragraph of adjectives. "Called rotations all game and never tilted when we lost the first half" tells a reader far more than "good player".

What makes a review useful

Be specific. What did they do, in which round or situation?
Stick to your own games with them. Second-hand reputation is not evidence.
Comment on behaviour as much as aim. Whether someone is worth queuing with is the whole point.
Praise is as useful as criticism. Most profiles have nothing on them, and a good teammate deserves the record.

Review someone you have never played with.
State cheating or smurfing as fact. Use the warning tags and describe what you saw.
Post anyone's personal details, or bring an argument from elsewhere onto their profile.
