Who can use it
You need a Discord account, so you must meet Discord's minimum age for your country. Anyone can read profiles without signing in. You need to sign in to review, vote, report, or claim an account.
Writing reviews
Reviews must be about your own experience of playing with someone. Do not:
- Review someone you have not actually played with.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, or post hate speech about any group.
- Post personal information about anyone, including real names, addresses, workplaces, or social accounts they have not published themselves.
- Accuse someone of cheating, smurfing, or anything else as though it were proven. Use the warning tags for behaviour you witnessed and say what you saw.
- Coordinate with others to push someone's score up or down, or use more than one account to review the same player.
- Advertise, sell anything, or post unrelated content.
You are responsible for what you write, and you keep ownership of it while granting us permission to display it on the site. Reviews are opinions of the members who wrote them, not statements of fact by us.
How reviews work
- One live review per player per person.
- You can edit a review for 48 hours after posting, then it is fixed.
- You can delete your own review. It is hidden from the site but retained for moderation purposes, and there is a waiting period before you can post a replacement.
- A tag only becomes visible on a profile once 3 different people have applied it.
Claiming and verification
Claiming a Riot ID is self-service and, on its own, proves nothing. It is labelled as unverified until an admin has checked evidence you submit. Verification means a person compared a screenshot against the profile. It is reasonable evidence, not proof, and we may withdraw it. Claiming an account you do not own is a breach of these terms.
Moderation
We can remove any content, refuse verification, and suspend accounts, including for reasons not listed above. If we remove one of your reviews you will not be able to post another about that player. Reporting a review does not hide it: a profile owner cannot silence criticism by reporting it.
Game statistics
Ranks, matches, and account details come from HenrikDev, a third-party service that is not operated by us or by Riot Games. It may be wrong, out of date, or unavailable, and profiles will show when figures are stale.
No warranty and liability
ValRep is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, accurate, or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, SVRSN is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from content posted by other members.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use ValRep means you accept the update.
