This policy explains what SVRSN ("we", "us"), the operator of ValRep, collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. ValRep is a community reputation site for Valorant players and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.

That last one is worth being precise about, because it is the only thing here we collect without you handing it to us. Your IP address is not stored. If your address reaches us at all, what is stored is a one-way fingerprint of it, computed with a secret only this server holds and not reversible into an address. In practice the proxy in front of this site does not pass visitor addresses through, so anonymous lookups currently share a single counter and nothing specific to you is recorded either way. The counter is attached to nothing else about you and is deleted within the hour. If you are signed in, your account is used instead.
On match rosters, one detail is worth stating because it decides how much of this exists at all: we only keep a line for players already on ValRep. A Valorant match holds ten to fourteen people, and recording every one of them would mean this database quietly filling with strangers because somebody opened a profile. The cost of that choice is that we miss real shared games, and we would rather miss them.
We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, we do not sell your data, and we never see your Riot or Discord password.
Profiles of people who have not signed up
This is the part worth reading carefully. Anyone can look up a Riot ID on ValRep, and doing so creates a profile page for it. That means a page may exist about you before you have ever visited the site.
Such a page contains only:
- Game information already visible in Valorant, such as your Riot ID, rank, and recent matches.
- Opinions written by other members about playing with you. These are the views of the people who wrote them. They are not statements of fact by us, and we do not verify them.
We rely on legitimate interest to publish this, on the basis that community reputation is the point of the service and the underlying game data is already public. You can object to that at any time.
If a profile is about you, you can claim it and ask to be verified, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, report a review you believe breaks our rules, or ask us to remove the profile entirely. Email privacy@subversion.life and we will act on it. We do not require you to create an account first.
Your profile page is kept out of search engines, both by our robots.txt and by a no-index instruction on the page itself, so the profile should not appear in a web search for your name.
One exception, stated plainly: our leaderboards are indexed, and they list Riot IDs. If the community rates you highly, or agrees on a positive tag for you, your Riot ID can appear there and therefore in search results. Only positive and skill tags are ever ranked; nothing about suspected cheating or poor behaviour is published in a league table. If you have an account, you can take yourself off the boards from your account page at any time. If you do not, email us and we will do it. Coming off the boards changes nothing else: your profile, your score, and the reviews stay as they are.
How long we keep it
- Account details are kept while your account exists, and removed when you ask us to delete it.
- Reviews are kept while they are live. A deleted review is hidden from the site but retained so moderators can look back at decisions and handle repeat abuse.
- Verification screenshots are kept while a claim stands, so a decision can be reviewed later. Ask and we will delete yours.
- Game statistics are overwritten each time we refresh them and are not kept as history.
Who else is involved
- Discord handles sign-in, and if you request verification your screenshot and Riot ID are posted to a private moderator channel in our Discord server.
- HenrikDev supplies Valorant statistics. We send them the Riot ID being looked up.
Your rights
Under South Africa's POPIA, and the GDPR if you are in the EU, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email privacy@subversion.life. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to your data protection regulator.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use ValRep after a change means you accept the updated policy.
